Eurotank Installations has helped two more customers extend their service offer by adding AdBlue at the pump.
Pentwyn Service Station in Cardiff chose a Mepsan Cosmic single-hose AdBlue dispenser and GreenChem 3,000-litre aboveground tank positioned next to one of the existing fuel islands.
As part of the project, Eurotank also rewired the electrics, dug a 12m trench, and replaced ducting to enable the AdBlue pipework to be pulled through.
Meanwhile, Wellington Road Service Station in Taunton, Devon, installed a two-hose Mepsan Cosmic AdBlue dispenser on one of the existing pump islands, a submersible pump, and a GreenChem AdBlue skid unit situated by the forecourt perimeter.
Construction work included new curb islands and reinstallation of two existing bollards.
Introducing AdBlue at the pump offers a fast return on investment, with customers reporting an average return of 12 months – and as quick as four months for one client.
Eurotank offers a range of AdBlue tank and pump solutions, which include a small-footprint horizontal or vertical GreenChem tank, and a Mepsan AdBlue dispenser with one or two hoses.
Jack Aplin, Eurotank’s Group Sales Director, said: “Forecourts that have high diesel sales offer the best return on investment.
“Sites that already have HGV pumps can position an AdBlue tank and pump on the HGV lane and this will yield the quickest return because commercial vehicles have larger AdBlue tanks and will be undertaking more mileage.”
