Sussex-based retailer Pricewatch has given Selmeston Service Station in Polegate a major overhaul, using Eurotank for a number of services.
Top of the list was replacing the four old fuel pumps with just two new Mepsan Smartline H dispensers, creating more space around the filling points.
Tom Buckley, General Manager of Pricewatch, said: “It’s not often people reduce the number of fuelling positions but there was only space for six vehicles filling at a time anyway and one of the lanes could only fit cars, not vans. With four filling points we’ve got a good amount of space for people to walk around the forecourt safely.”
Eurotank Installations has also tarmacked the staff carpark, which was previously described as a wasteland, creating maximum parking space around the forecourt for customers; repiped the site; installed a new aboveground diesel tank; relocated an aboveground tank; and put in new lampposts and lights. The Europump team has also installed hardware for the Big Brother Watch-it security system (more on that in the next edition of Euronews).
