When an existing customer’s supplier was unable to meet an unmoveable deadline for important outdoor payment terminal (OPT) upgrades, Europump Maintenance stepped
in to help.
Working alongside equipment manufacturer HTEC, Europump carried out all the electrical works for the new OPT rollout across seven sites.
Jack Aplin, Group Sales Director, said: “We were approached by an existing customer to assist with the electrical works because their current supplier was unable to meet the deadline. It was a rigid deadline because the customer wanted all high-risk works to be completed before they entered their busiest period of the year.
“Europump disconnected and removed the old units, ran new CAT5 cabling and reconnected the new style payment pods over a three-week period. The Europump team did a fantastic job pulling this project together at short notice.”
