Specialist Lining Services (SLS) and Eurotank Environmental (EE) have been working to develop a one-stop-shop service offering customers everything from tank cleaning to lining to recommissioning.
SLS MD Mike Kingston said: “EE branching out from the forecourt industry into bulk storage and bund maintenance is a no-brainer. The EE team is well equipped with fantastic professional staff, exemplary Health & Safety and ADR tankers with stainless steel barrels, which means the equipment can be utilised to clean the majority of chemical tanks. SLS comes from a very chemical background in terms of lining installs so to be able to offer a cleaning service prior to lining is fantastic.”
Mike said that a lot of customers would rather have a single company to do everything they need and have a single point of contact. “With this new collaboration, we are able to offer this service to our existing customer base and new customers alike.”
EE recently cleaned an old out-of-service, above ground heavy fuel oil tank for James Cropper plc in Kendal, a job which came via an SLS order and in the next few weeks, SLS will be installing a reinforced glass plastic lining to the tank. Mike said SLS will be working with EE on other projects coming up over the next few months and is really looking forward to more future collaborations.
